By creating an account or using Khorchapati you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully. If you disagree, please do not use the service.

1. The service

Khorchapati provides a personal finance tracking application for individuals and families. The service is available as an Android app and a web application. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time with reasonable notice.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your password and PIN secure.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must not share your account credentials with others.
• One person may create one free account. Multiple accounts per person are not permitted.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from our apps.
• Use automated tools to access the service in a way that could harm it.
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent financial data.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts.

4. Your data

You own your financial data. By using the service you grant us a limited licence to process that data in order to provide the service to you. We do not claim ownership of your data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

5. Subscription and payments

• The Free plan is free forever and does not require a payment method.
• Premium plans are billed monthly in Bangladeshi Taka (৳).
• Payments are processed securely by our payment provider.
• Refunds are available within 7 days of the first charge for a new billing period. After that, no refunds are issued for partial months.
• Prices may change with 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers keep their current price until their next renewal.

6. Disclaimers

Khorchapati is a budgeting tool, not a financial adviser. Nothing in the app or on this website constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Always consult a qualified professional for those matters.

The service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Khorchapati and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Dhaka.

9. Changes to these terms

We will notify you of material changes at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance.
